About Rita O'Malley

An educator with more than 20 years of experience, Rita O’Malley focuses on special education, the evaluation and diagnosis of learning disabilities, and bullying in the workplace and schools. A certified Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDT/C), she has spent 15 years as an educational psychologist, diagnosing and remediating for children with learning disabilities. Rita O’Malley maintains membership in the New Jersey Education Association, an organization that works to create an optimal environment for excellence in public education.

Ms. O’Malley holds a bachelor of arts in education with a minor in social studies and a master of arts in special education from Kean University in Union, New Jersey, and a doctor of education in educational psychology from Northcentral University in Prescott, Arizona.

Outside of work and school, Ms. O’Malley enjoys baking. She volunteers with the National Centre for Padre Pio, a Catholic spiritual center in Barto, Pennsylvania.
